I have some in a kitchen drawer and some in a "knife holder" on the counter!

Have to agree: I really don't like having these big kitchen knives in the house, and at a more practical level, am wondering if I am going to cut myself one day when I do the washing up, and fail to notice that I have picked up the knife by the wrong end or the wrong way round! I guess that we are all getting a bit paranoid these days as we hear and see the damage done to people with these things being used as weapons!

Most of my knives are kept in a drawer, I have a few small paring knives in a utensil crock on the counter.

Kitchen on the counter not the drawer it easy to reach when i need it that why.

In a drawer. Jet knows he's not allowed to jump on any kitchen surface but he has 'forgotten' a few times.

I have knifes in the draw and on the counter. I also have a set in their own box on the wall.
