Oh yes! Even back when we had albums! It was a little harder to do on an 8-Track, or a cassette. Those $%^&*@# things were crap! Bow down to the digital age, cuz now you can jam all you want without your tape getting stuck and totally frying your whole stereo! I like how you can play the song over and over without ever having to press another button!! I don't know if any of the young hipsters here know what I'm talking about, but you guys have been raised with all this luxurious convenience. It was a pain in the ____ to get the needle in the right spot on the album, without the little tell tale novice 'sraaaactttzzzp' . FFWD and RRWD -Ing. your tapes was such a hassle! Sometimes I just gave up.
About the singing, lol, yea, I do too, shhh! I don't think about learning the words, per se, (meaning I forget lyrics, lol), I just love a good song.... to death!

I have this problem with songs I don't particularly like. For some reason the tune and words stick in my memory and I can't get rid of them with anything short of a frontal lobotomy. It is really frustrating.
But I usually pick up on songs I like right away and I will play them a lot and wind up knowing the songs pretty much by heart.
I don't know if it's 20 or more times, though.
You obviously like songs a lot. Go for it.

Depends on the song. If it's techno, can't do that. But yeah, I'll listen to new songs more frequently than others at first, until I have it down fairly well, maybe not by heart, but I can sing along with most of it.

I'm actually more inclined to listen to it alot if i want to like it.
Like a new album you have never heard needs time to grow on you so you learn the lyrics, but with songs i love i try not to listen to to much so i can enjoy them for longer and not get sick of it :)

No, I can't do that. If I listen to music that way I will hear it over and over in my head. I learn music very fast and usually 2 or 3 times I know the words.

If you want more 'clean and tidy' things to do, then you could wash other floors, dust and polish, clean windows, have a change around with furniture, arrange things differently, sort through your kitchen etc Or something fun, go out and shop till you drop!

Yeah, a lot. When I REALLY want to learn the lyrics, or I heard the song at least 5 times. One time, I loved this Japanese song, and I learned most of it! ^__^
