Well, for some of us...we pray and pray and pray...and in time, God moves. He speaks, moves with His presence or does something supernatural. God/Christ is very very real. You don't know how lost and in trouble you really are.
Nevertheless... choose.

Christians are right about their belief as Muslims and Buddhists and other religions are right about their beliefs. These beliefs are guidelines on how to make our lives better as a person, as a neighbor, as a friend, as a responsible person to the community. It defines how we should live so that we all could live in a harmonious relationship with all members of the community.
Faith is something you believe in. It gives people hope in a world where it seem like hope is vanishing. It gives people a motive to do something right and achieve it.
Prayer is an act of faith. Not a source of faith. The source of faith is the desire to have a happy and harmonious relationship and that everything will be okay.
Praying is invalid=Christians belief invalid??? Its like you're saying that Praying is invalid=Muslims' belief is also invalid and so are with the other religions of the world.
Well, we cannot force you to believe in what we believe in but at least we are working forward to achieve something out of our faith. If you cannot understand our ways of faith, the least you could do is accept how people show their faith. It wont hurt if you let things be. =)

The early Christian philosophers started off with faith and had the difficulty of explaining to others about Christianity. There is much more to just saying that a Bible is just a book.
Prayer is important not just to Christians but to other faiths and religions as well. Prayer is just one of the ways we communicate to and praise God.
Coincidence is not the same as prayer because God acts in His time not because we want Him to and He grants our wish. We know that God has a plan for us.
Your argument here lacks a sense of spirituality even if you turn out to be an aetheist

Yes, all of my prayers were answered, and sometimes with a big NO.
But i still have my faith. Faith is not just something you get from reading the Word of God, the Bible. It is a personal experience. Yes, EXPERIENCE. A personal experience. And not just that, one must have great insight and wisdom to be able to understand. Yes, UNDERSTANDING.
You seem bitter as evidenced by your ramblings in your question, first addressing the second person then the third person then the second person.
Calm yourself. How can you understand if you do not listen. You can hear, but cannot comprehend. Exercise your brain. A lot of the elderly have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease recently.

If you question the faith of the Christians, so be it and let it be. If you don't believe on what they believe in then let loose. You must learn to respect the faith of others as we Chrsistians would like to appreciate on what you believe in or if you are an atheist. I have due respect to atheists because that's their knowledge. Their basis are also indisputable and therefore a bottomline must be drawn because there is a separation on their lines of thought. It wouldn't do good to our co-creatures if condemned them. It is better to give your valid arguments and share to others. In this way, you will gain respect from others.
Thanks for asking and have a great day!

i am not even going to put my energy in to arguing with you. it just shows how unhappy of a person you are to take the time to slam another person's faith. dont be around them if you are so single-minded to jump to conclusions about them. "every" and "all" are completely broad terms to be using. obviously your hatred toward Christians is pure opinion. my question is why you are taking the time out of your day to complain about someone else's beliefs. live your life the way you want sweetie. eternity's abitch.

It is no different than any other religion out there - Muslim, Jewish- all believe theirs is the one true religion. Me personally, I consider myself a Christian (non-demoninational) but I do not fall into the BS that comes with the tag. I believe in a higher power, I beleive Jesus existed, I believe Mohammad existed, I believe all these people who were written about in all religious text existed. Only when we die will we find out what the truth really is.

Only by God's grace.
faith not only comes from "just" reading the bible...many atheists can attest to that.
We don't only pray to make requests...we communicate with the Lord...we acknowledge His existence, His goodness and His power...
and then we put our Trust in Him.

Fear can be the source for faith... if a child is taught to be genuinely afraid of God's wrath not just through the words but also through demonstrated example, it is very likely for the child to grow up to have stronger faith.

My own life philosophy can be described as agnostic maybe even atheist. I don't worship books but rather immerse myself in and observe the environment around me and simply live me life.
Nonetheless I find your question to be juvenile, abrasive, full of overgeneralizations and untruths. Leave other people's beliefs to them. Stop baiting people. Go and live your life and figure things out for yourself. Stop acting like a fool.
