John Kerry? I think your boy friend is more informed than you. John Kerry is the turncoat who testified to the Senate that the US military was made up of baby killers and rapists. Kerry also received a less-than-honorable discharge for being AWOL from his Navy Reserve drills while he was leading anti-war rallies.

He hurt your fillings?

If memory serves, you can support anyone politically you want. If you don't like that he supports someone you don't agree with, maybe you should break it off. Then you can find someone with whom you do agree.

He'd be better off without you because you are basically, as others have said, a snob. His people are SUPPOSED to vote for John Kerry? According to who? You? What is this, 2004? Kerry isn't even running for president this time around.

Honey, in case you don't realize it, the world does NOT revolve around you and your beliefs.

Smarter is John Kerry? I think your boyfriend needs to dump you. The unbelievable part of your story is that he is from a poor family. All the Republicans I know are just the opposite. Are you sure he isn't a democrat?

Well, I would say yes, but you are a liberal.

Therefore, I recommend you write a strongly worded letter demanding that he change political affiliations or else.

When he ignores it, write a second letter censuring him for ignoring the first letter.

When he ignores that, then write a letter DEMANDING that he respond within sixty days to the concerns you outlined in the first two letters, or face further economic sanctions.

If he ignores that, try to get a penpal in europe, to garner international support for your cause.

Then, get the pen pal to write a letter demanding that he be held to account for not answering any previous letters.

When he ignores this letter, hold a protest outside of his home, school or work. Call him a baby killer, and insinuate he is like Hitler in some way. Also, if you can find some connection to Halliburton, that would be great.

If all this fails, start over. It's all you have in the liberal playbook.

He should be dumping you. to assume that a person in a poor family in a bad area would naturally vote to stay poor in a bad area is the height of arrogance.

Perhaps he should dump you. The President of the United States is the Leader of our Country. I Honored President Clinton For the good he did and likewise President Bush. Yes Dump Him and find someone else with your believes. Life will be easier for you both.

If politics is so important to you then the lack of compatibility might be a concern.

I have to tell you, though, not many people react well to others telling them what they or "their people" should believe.

Quite honestly, I would consider everything that you said to be extremely insulting to your boyfriend. You told him he was wrong and think he's not smart just because he doesn't agree with you?

I don't mean to be rude (well, yes, I do), but you can't spell 'feelings', so where do you get off calling HIM dumb?

I'm surprised that he hasn't dumped you - not for political reasons, but because of your attitude.

BTW: I'm not a republican and my comments have nothing to do with political values.

you have got to be kidding me! i always try not to say anything if i cant say something nice but you are absolutely ridiculous! just from looking at your post... you have a few things to be educated on as well. what does it matter if his family is poor, isnt it the person that matters? you obviously liked him before you found out his background. and what do you mean by "his people are supposed to vote for Kerry?" "HIS PEOPLE"... give me a break. you need to grow up!

He should dump you. He is much too intelligent and mature to be with you. What a hypocrite! Because he is from a poor area you think you are so much better than him? Maybe he doesn't need to be "educated" by such a condescending Bioch

So....you don't agree with the general idea that people can have differing views on various topics then? Or must he agree with you on everything?

Me and my wife disagree on many things, but we accept the differences and don't make an issue of them. We don't argue about the things we disagree on, if it looks like a political conversation (for example) may get tense, we'll just agree to disagree.
