Me and my girlfriend loved that store. We would to to EZ's for dinner then go to the store.

I wish they wouldn't have closed it. But I do like Borders at the Forum though. I just miss the small Book Stop.

I remember it. I miss it too. Before it was a book stop it was a grocery store. I liked that grocery store also. There is a cute sandwich shop with in walking distance to the original Half Price books on Broadway over by the zoo. If you havent' been to that particular Half Price Books, you've missed a treat. It's very eclectic. Go check it out.

Yes I used to go to that Book Stop all the time, and eat outside at the EZ's, or eat at Twin Sisters just down the way.

I also used to prefer the old Half Price Books on NW Military before it moved out to the more upscale store on Huebner.

We all lose things in the name of progress.

Of course I've been hanging around here so long I remember when Jim's Coffee Shops were Jim's Frontier Burger and had Drive-Ins. I also remember when Casa Rio used to rent paddle boats on the San Antonio Riverwalk.

Times Change!!! :-)

Thanks for the memories!!

Oh yeah...as a former student of UIW, I went to that store a lot. Eat at EZ's, then go through the Bookstop.
