Yep, they are all gone!

They weren't very profitable.

Vegas tried to be family friendly for a while and then realized that the real money was to be made in the image of "sin city" and those three things closed their doors over a period of just a couple of years.

Even the pirate show at Treasure Island is more "racy" now. It's silly.

They closed it down. I thought that was odd too esp since Vegas gets so hot in the summer. I read that they lost the lease on the land they were renting. It doesn't surprise me that it would go to condos or a casino.. that would make more money, but it was such a fun place away from all the other hundreds of condos & casinos already there. There was only one waterpark where your kids didn't have to hike through endless slot machines & tables.....sigh

They were all VERY profitable. Just that bigger pockets came calling and offered them more money than they were making.

Plus as the land values on and near the strip skyrocketed (land on the strip is now over 25 mill an acre) taxes would cause the prices to go out of reach.

I live here . and we all miss those places.. Big developers came in and decided that the LAND was worth more than the parks etc, they bought them all out and the big thing here High Rises which inly the rick can afford to live in and do business with. It is all BIGGGG $$$$. and I think Vegas is turning into just a big Condo? casino. with Zilth for the families that come here in the summer...
