Sure, why not.
I don't believe that Mexicans come here, and wave their flag to disrespect our country. Why do you think that? Have you seen a group of Mexicans waving their flag in order to belittle America? Have you really?
How does it defy our heritage? How does a group of Mexican s flying their flag defy American heritage? How does that say that American have no backbone? Should we shoot them on site for waving their flag? That would show them we have back bone - or an itchy trigger finger. The two are so closely related aren't they?
How is it disrespectful to the military?
Do Mexicans and their flag directly impact morale of our troops in Iraq and in the rest of the world?
You didn't spend a lot of time on this question did you?
Feels good to vent though, hmm?
It is very nice for the nurses at the hospital where you live to let you use their computer to go online. Perhaps you could make them something nice out of macaroni noodles and construction paper tomorrow during arts and crafts to thank them for letting you go online? Be careful when mixing the colors white, green, and red as that may show disrespect for
American ancestors and hurt our military.
You are an idiot.

even even with the undeniable fact that i'm a million/2 Mexican and that i've got been to Mexico many cases, I face a similar circumstances. I even have cousins, and friends that love Mexico, demonstrate flags, or maybe hear to their song. I as quickly as had an American flag in my room, and my cousins might tell me to take it down, it supposedly labels me as a "gringo". additionally, many Mexicans prefer the government to grant welfare, grant well-being care, and that our borders are too regulated. Even worse, many Mexicans supposedly come to the U. S. to have "extra appropriate" education for their little ones, and a great form of drop out and alter into gang bangers and street hustlers that throughout straightforward terms make streets risky. i'm a proud Mexican-American, yet I hate being criticized for no longer upholding a flag, and for no longer listening to Mexican song. the only component I care approximately is our u . s ., we ought to enable others stay how ever they please, we've a shape that must be enforced, and progressively discover extra human beings to teach. enable others have faith what they like, they must no longer replace the way you reside, and you need to not replace the way they think of. i do no longer discover patriotism in flags, by the way, so enable your pal's brother brag that Mexico is the "suitable"=/. Take care.

I think you are confusing "illegal immigrants" with "Mexicans." Americans of Mexican heritage can wave the Mexican flag just like people of Swedish descent wave Swedish flags every now and then, the same for American Greeks or Italians or Irish or Japanese or whatever.
The point is to make sure that the other flag does not supersede the American one.
If a tourist is visiting from Mexico, then they can wave their flag.

There of course is the issue of freedom and people believe you can celebrate your ancestral heritage. However, does the rest of the country realize, that there is an element that believes that the Southwestern United States is really occupied Mexico? So if flying the Mexican flag in lieu of the American flag exists, that can only serve to undermine national unity. For any society that is detrimental. Be it the former Yugoslavia or Iraq, where factions care more about their own turf.

I don't like it and it makes me mad since they are showing their allegiance and love of another country.
I don't think we can tell them they can't EXCEPT if they fly it above the American flag. I live near an area we call "Little TJ" since it is a bunch of rental homes that have illegals - I know that they are based on evidence. Several fly the Mexican flag. One has a large Mexican flag above a very small American flag. They probably think this is showing respect to this country. I think it is insulting.

OMG.. what planet are you from. !st Amendment??? Freedom of speech? We fly the Czech flag at our house, as well as the US flag. US flag on top out of respect. It is NOT wrong for the Mexicans to fly their flag, as it is not wrong for the Irish, Italians, etc to fly their flags. The issue of other countries flags being flown we never an issue before the immigration debacle. You need to rethink you position and be more educated on what really matters..

As long as they are not flying it at official government locations I do not see why it would cause a disturbance.
Anybody has a right to fly any flag they chose.
I'm thinking about reporting your question as I find it to be borderline Racist but I will let it be for the time being. If the Mexicans have to take down their flag, but about all the other immigrants flying Russian, Italian, German, and French flags. Why aren't you complaining about them?

In my neighborhood I have seen Mexican, Canadian, British flags and even a Australian flag.
When I lived in the Czech Republic I hung a Texas flag where I lived and conducted business. Never once did a Czech citizen ask or demand that I take it away.
Let's deal with real issues and just let people be proud of where they came from. It doesn't hurt anything.

There's an ettiquette for flyig flags other than or in addition to the flag of the sovreign - in this case, the United States. Essentially, any other flag is to be flown slightly lower to evidence respect for the host nation.
If the appropriate flag ettiquette is observed, there is no reason not to fly another flag.

OC_ Boomer: I disagree with a lot, but I agree with you on this one. I think you might be saying that you don't think it is right to fly their flag in the U S A. So no I don't either.
