Can any of you big govenment conspiracy therorists explain what one in attempting to do when one records an "Affidavit of Truth" with the County Recorder? The one I read said to record it with the County Recorder, but not to send it to any Government Agencies. Last time I check County Recorder is a government agency. So please explain to me, is simple small words what one is trying to accomplish recording one of these things.

I have seen these "commercial affidavits of truth." It is a way to fork over a lot of money to a county recorder (a government agency).

Recording the affidavit has absolutely no legal effect in any officially recognized (i.e. government-established) court or administrative agency in this country. Try to use one of them in court and the other side will lightly chuckle as they proceed to get judgment against you and execute that judgment.

Before wasting your money on recording it, ask the people suggesting it to show you one case in which an official state court has recognized such an affidavit as having any value. Of course, since most of the proponents of these affidavits do not recognize the authority of the government (and the government does not care one bit whether john doe recognizes its authority as long it has the military, and the sheriffs, and the jails, and the courts), I doubt that they will have such a case to show you. If they do, take a close look at what that case says and decide if it is worth the $200 or so that it will take to record this lengthy (and I do mean lengthy document).

The affidavit itself does include quotes from several cases and legal documents but those quotes are taken out of context and out of the limitations of the actual question presented in the case. More importantly, it uses those quotes to draw a legal conclusion that no court would draw or ever has drawn.

ok basically what that says is that this affidavit is specifically designed to nullify all government contracts that say that you are lying and they are telling the truth, because the govenrment has made themselves a nice little maze of legal documents that are specifically made to override your say and a legal standing behind them, and this addidavit superseeds all of them.
