I don't care if Lebron is a Yankees fan, a Braves fan, a Marlins fan or whatever. But his wearing a Yankees hat at Jacobs Field during the first game of a baseball play off series the city of Cleveland has been waiting for 10 years is inexcusable. It is the epitome of poor taste, disrespect, and inappropriate attention seeking.
If Lebron is such a true die hard Yankees fan why didn't he show up to the Cleveland vs New York games during the regular season wearing his Yankees cap? He should have known that just being at Jacobs Field last night, let alone wearing that damn hat , would shift attention away from the Indians onto him.
Is Lebron that desperate for more "photo opportunities" that he has to figuratively "moon" the ciity of Cleveland's sports fans? A lot of us Indians fans are also Cavs fans.and have supported and cheered for Lebron from the moment Cleveland got the number one pick in the lottery. And this is the way he treats us?

As a matter of FACT it does tell me something, It tells me that LeBron, just like millions of other people all over the Globe Loves the Yankees....There is NO BIGGER selling sports related Item then the Yankees Merchandise.....

I think if he is a yankee fan then get over it, just because you play for a cleaveland basketball team does not mean you have to like their baseball team. It is a fact that the Yankees are a popular team in where lots of yankee fans are people who live all over the U.S. and might of never even been to NY in their life.

living here in cleveland, i dont mind him sporting a cap of his fave team. but i think it also shows disrespect.there was a quote from him in our newspaper where he said he loves the yankees and hopes they win. after tonights game it was said on espn the crowd behind lebron was chanting,"take off the cap" after which he did in the 6th inning. how would he have liked it if a few of the indians big names (hafner,martinez,sizmore,cc sabathia,etc) would have worn spurs hats and said that they hoped the spurs would win. just think you should support your city's team. especially if you are the face of cleveland. on that note- GO TRIBE!!! 12-3 BABY!!
