No, photocopying means getting an exact copy of an already printed document / photo etc. It's also known as xerox (as the first photocopier was introduced by the Xerox company).

Yes and No.

Both utilise a printing system to put the image on hte paper. In the old days it was LITERALY a snapshot of the original used to create the static electricity on the page to hold toner for a new copy, now they use a scanner and a laser printer usually

Most "MFP"s can be used as a copier AND a printer

In general use of lanhuage the term "printing" means "creating a printed image" rather than copying from another already printed.

No photocopying is when you have a paper or photo and it duplicates it. Printing are originals from your computer.

No...completely different.
The process to create the document is the same with laser technology.

Photcopying today involves turning analog information to digital information.
Printing is already digital information.
But to put the information on paper is the same...ink printing is different.
