Indians lack the consistency and fitness and commitment to the game of cricket and above all these necessary things what India lack most is the spirit and thirst to win matches. You have named a few big stars tell me if any one of them had won any game single handedly when it mattered most? They were called the "Tigers at Home" but Australians have beaten the heck out of them in last 3 one dayers. Believe me India can never be a consistent winner like aussies if they don't put up a collective effort. India need to make some harsh decision to improve the quality of cricket and first decisions should be to get rid of Sachin, Dravid and Ganguly and I assure you the performance of the team will change. Look at Tendulker what he did today? He with Yuvraj could take India to victory but he threw his wicket at a crucial juncture. Alas..team India

i feel that they are fabulous players and they are all great players , India is lucky to have the players like Dravid(my favorite), Sachin ,Ganguly , Yuvaraj in the team.They will surely be able to win against the Aussies provided they step up their batting and fielding, they are doing pretty well the bowling department. the only thing that makes India stumble in cricket is that they donot play consistently and that they aren't so good in the field as well. India i feel has the capability to win against the aussies.

The players you have listed are all fabulous players. The Indian team should perform far better than they are against the Aussies at the moment,but unfortunately, they don't. It is sad to see such great players beaten so easily. It would be far more satisfying if they could play with the commitment shown in the T20, and the matches be more exciting, before they are beaten.

While the Aussies and even other countries always play as a team,India is always pulled back by non-cricketing imbalances.
India wins whenever collective performance overcomes these drawbacks.

Australia are the best and strongest ODI team in the world today. They always have best 11 players capable of performing well consistently. While Indian batting line up is strong, unfortunately it is only in paper and not in practice as they perform well only once in a while

No doubt Aussies are very very strong. That does not mean that you can not beat them.!
We have good players but Management has to IMPROVE.!!!
