Flow masters are a good start along with custom tuned headers.
Find out if there is a turbo charger available for the 5.0
Also see if there is an inner cooler available for the 5.0
Low profile tires will also give you a small boost at take off.
I don't know how your car is fueled so I can't give you any suggestions.
See if there are any racing chips out there you can install to advance ignition and increase fuel flow to either your throttle body or multipoint injection system.
Other than tearing down the engine there's not much more you can do at this point.
You can go a head and get special racing plugs and wires which will boost your ignition a bit.
I gather this is an automatic so see if there is a shift kit available.
Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

well depending on how much money you are willing to spend, that is how far you can go. Check out ebay for car performance parts, that is where i do all my shopping. if you want instant power, a turbo/supercharger/or nitrous set up is the way to go. if you want simple things, then go for a cold air intake, high flow exhaust, and sports header would be a cheaper route. Remember, the sky's the limit when it comes to modifying cars, just make sure you have a large bank account.

Since money isn't a problem, then go with a crate engine, a big block and go from there. You should be able to build it up to over 600 hp. There are so many options available to you, you will have to chose what you want the car to do.
Do you want to keep it naturally aspirated? Or do you want forced induction?
Big block, or small block?
If you are only looking for a smaller hp gain, then go with nitrous and the low restriction exhaust.
good luck

to start with....port your intake or buy an aftermarket, port your heads or buy aftermarket, buy exhaust header...increase airflow into your engine - more air will tell the comp to add more fuel...more fuel = more power..... maybe replace cam with one to match preferred rpm range. depends on your budget tho.... could go out and buy a new crate motor with more power....the possibilities are pretty much endless

the more horsepower you add the more you will have to do to other components of the car.
