Ring (all the old and new ones)
28 days later (waiting to see 28 weeks later)
Exorcist (all the old ones)
The Grudge
Final Destination (1,2 and 3)
Child's Play (all)
Hellraiser (all)
Halloween (haven't seen the new one yet)
Doppelganger (the one which had young Drew Barrymore in it)
Event Horizon
Village of the Damned (1995)
Dawn of the Dead (The old one by George A. Romero and the recent one by Zack Snyder)
The Invasion (new one was brilliant)

(These are some of the best horror movies)

And 1 suggestion. If you haven't seen "1408" then do give it a try. Even I haven't seen it yet. But I'm sure it'll be good.

The most fearsome I saw was the "Exorcist." I first saw it in a theatre. Patrons were walking out in droves. Some were sick, holding hankies and napkins to their mouths. It ranked first with me because I do believe in demonic possessions, just as I do in God-inspired possessions. Everything has an antithesis.

I also enjoyed all Dracula movies, all the offshoots. One of the best productions was, "An Interview With A Vampire", with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. That was well done.

If I want to see something really gory, I watch CNN, too!

My favorite horror movie is "28 Days Later". I like the survival and human aspect of it, also, I have a thing for zombie movies.

Well, I grew up shrimping and fishing on the MS Gulfcoast and the scariest movie that I ever watched was Jaws. No kidding. But I don't recommend you watching it.
