I have two photos.

America Ferrera - http://www.exposay.com/celebrity-photos/america-ferrera-13th-annual-screen-actors-guild-awards-arrivals-14EjAa.jpg

and keira knightly -http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/entertainment/2006-07/05/xin_490703050914884769816.jpg

(disclaimer: Im not saying America Ferrera is fat or that Keira Knightly is anorexic....I think they are both fabolous and beautiful) --------------------BUT....

Are there any men out there who still see the beautiful in a classical, curvy woman?? Im so sick of hearing all these girls write in about them feeling fat and how they are dying to be skinny. Im hawaiian and we embrace curves, and Italians must feel the same way cuz my boyfriend looovves my curves lol. But neways, im just throwing this out there. Our society is going down the drain by focusing on size instead of health.... what do you think!?

Its not even about choosing to be fat or skinny sometimes. I love America Ferrera because she represents a lot of etnic girls in the United States whose bodies are just built bigger and curvier... even if it just means being big boned. Like have you ever noticed that some girls have huge hips, and some are stick thin with no hips? You cant judge either one really because unless they get some kind of dangerous surgery....they'll never look like each other.

I think a lot of men appreciate curves. But, like you say, we can't change our basic body shape. So if you're naturally thin like Keira that's great, but if you've got a curvier look then that's great too! We can all be beautiful and healthy. I have a body type like America's, except I'm smaller on top. I used to hate it and I wanted to be skinny, but now I realize that even if I was skinny I'd still have these hips! So now I embrace them and just focus on being active and healthy. I wish more people would see that not everyone is built to be a size 2.

well i'm not a guy but sometimes i have doubts too being a curvy girl(as u can see i asked a recent question if taller and skinner looks better or taller and fatter) but i think that no matter what we are we should feel beautiful and emphasis on what we like the best i dont think having curves is a bad thing it's really attractive n sexy but there are times when i get self-conscious i shouldn't though so i'm slowly starting to accept my body the way it is so i totally agree with you and every opposite sex has a differnet taste

ewe when showing a thin girl, dont show that anorexic girl. That is so repugnant. The thick one is much prettier and has a nice shape. I am a size 3, very healthy and have lots of curves:)

Keira Knightly looks like she's nothing but skin and bones...

There are men who rather their women proportionately... that's why guys don't starve themselves like that.. we lean to proportions but never to the extreme some women do

They both look good, I think whatever the hell keira is wearing makes her look like a skeleton, but she can look good. America is more what I would be looking for, you can tell she trys to look good, but is not so desperate that she goes anorexic.

I would prefer steak than a soup bone. I like beautiful secure women that aren't trying to starve themselves into being liked.

It all depends on the guy. Some guys actually like the thin (not anorexic) look.
