If she has been feeling the baby move and all of the sudden she stopped I would be concerned enough to talk to the doctor. When this happened to me, the doctor told me to drink orange juice and lay on my ide for thirty minutes. It got the baby moving everytime. You could try this but if she still doesn't feel any movement I would notify the doctor ASAP. Best Wishes to you and your family.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant right now and since my stomach is a little more crowded for the baby she doesn't move quite as much...however, sometimes i can put my hand on my stomach and feel her move but not feel it in my stomach. She's still pretty early in her pregnancy, which could possibly be why she doesn't feel the baby move so much. She could also absentmindedly not feel the baby move. If she's at work and just real busy she may not even pay mind to movements in her stomach. But like some of the other answers she should definately call the doctor to make sure everything is ok!

Try drinking something very icy cold (not necessarily sweet) and sit or lay quietly for an hour or so. The coldness usually stirs them up and the more she moves around the more the baby is rocked to sleep. If she still can't feel anything then take her off to the doctors for a check-up. These sort of things should be taken seriously, not to worry you, but the health of the baby is very important. You may just have a small, sleepy baby but its better to be safe than sorry!

best of luck and congrats on the baby

usually, movement of the fetus occurs on the 24th weeks, but still it depends.
check for the heart beat of the baby, try to locate the heart beat of the baby, by using stethoscope.
if she hasn't feel the move for 3 days, try some stimulation on the fetus.
like a cold hand touching the tummy, it will make the fetus react for the cold hand.
if still not move.
take some ultrasound to really check if the baby is moving. it is the surest way if the child is okey,
and go to your wife's gyne, and ask question about your fear.

I have 4 children. My second child, a boy, hardly moved at all the whole pregnancy - sometimes for days at a time - sometimes I would deliberately push my tummy just to make him wriggle and I could feel he was ok. It was worrying. I was pretty busy and often didn't notice during the day. They say you should lay really still and quiet for about half an hour (especially after eating!!) and you should be able to feel the baby. If not, go to your doctor and get them to check out asap.

I was just reading about this as a matter of fact and the article stated that just like us, sometimes babies like a lazy day here or there where they just wanna sleep all the time. Now, I am not sure about 3 days. She could call her doctor and ask. She may suggest something to wake the baby up :) Or ask your wife to come in to check it out.

At 23 weeks the movements are sometimes so slight that you don't notice the baby move. She should feel the baby move at least once in an hour, have her drink something sugary and lie still for one hour paying close attention to the baby. If she still does not feel movement it is time to get checked out.

I had the same problem and my doctor said that I might not be noticing and that at 23 weeks the babies will have days where the movement is light and not noticeable. I would still have her check with her doctor just to be on the safe side.

I would see the doctor as I found my daughter wasn't moving
at all, and there were problems, and if she has no movement for that long than she should be worried and see someone. They can be lazy don't get me wrong but mine was a prem and for the problems we had she arrived healthy.

it's not normal if she been feeling the baby everyday! Try having her drink something sweet and relax for 30mins if nothing happens. She is needing to see the doc asap! NO JOKE!!!!
