actually my first shower, i was 14!! our house only had a bathtub until we moved..a weird experience, lemme tell u! but i'll never go back!!

I was acting like my favorite cousin was about going down a water slide for the first time in his life this summer!
I was in the tub with the faucet running. Then I was like, ducking and looking up at the shower head, then I pressed in the thing for the shower to turn on. When the water came spraying out I ran out of the tub to the other end of the bathroom. Partially because it was cold at first and more importantly I was scared witless.
So I was watching the stream go and it seamed pretty harmless.. I got in and after a few minutes of feeling like I was going to be drowned, blocking the water with my hands and such.. I was 'alright'.. I was in Kindergarten.
I never let the water go over my face for about a year though. Then, I was showering with my friend Sam and when I failed to wash my face in shower (opposed to washing it in the sink like I had always done) he told me I wasn't showering right, so I felt inclined to do what he did.

I took my first shower long before i was 10, but i do remember it being scary. I'm not sure what I was afraid of, but even to this day I worry about the temperature changing suddenly and my getting scalded or frozen!

lol my first shower was actually at the beach where you shower off the sand before you go to get dressed, and the truth is the water was too cold for me to think about being scared!

I don't remember my first shower... But I remember my kids first shower, all three cried because water was splashing in their face! My son freaked out, he is now 5 and loves to take a shower now!

Thats so weird you know I cant even remember the first time I showered.. My daughter was one and she was afraid though now she showers alone all the time she is three lol!

No I was excited that I was able to shower like the big kids!!! I started showering at like 4.....

LOL. i was. I was about 5 and that's when we lived in San Diego. It was a hot summer and i got chicken pox. My mom told me i was going to take a shower and i cried and cried.

Yep, I was five and I remember it like it was yesterday. I was so so so scared of getting water in my eyes and every few seconds I was stepping back and wiping my face. When I got out, I had this feeling of accomplishment and maturity like I had REALLY done something significant...I guess it was to me seeing that I was only five. :0)

I don't remember, cause I was a baby, but not showering to the age of 10 is plain nasty
