Hello, I need to know some factors that helped to contribute to the american patriotic identity that was formed during the revolution and some actions that express this identity.

So far I have:
Factor: Intolerable acts
Action: First continental congress - and boycotting british goods

Factor: Conversion from puritanism to Revivalism
Action: Revivalist stressed beliefs as exemplified in the Declaration of Independance

Action: just of fighting for the patriotic beliefs in the revolutionary war and the founding of the continental army

Does anybody have another factor and subsequent action pertaining to the patriotic identity of the American Revolution

btw Its for a school essay. I have written the essay but I feel i need a bit more, thanks
