No. Because there would be no point you go to school to get a better job. If your the only person there is no chance of rebuilding. Your the last one and when you die it's over. So what I would do would depend on why I was the last person alive. Mostly I would do whatever made me the most happiest that I could until I died. Maybe pick up a book or two but work or school no.( If you just wanted a yes or no sorry.)

There would be "no reason" to go to work or school. Who would be there to teach me at the school? Who would I teach if I were the teacher? At the job, who would give me instructions as to what I should/should not do? What would be my goals at this job with NO people left to perform their duties? I would "fall down on my knees" and thank God that I was still alive. I would strive to do "whatever" God left me here to do. What shall we then say to these things? No, I'd go stock up on all the food, supplies and water I could find.
Plus I'd get guns and ammunition to fight off the ravenous dogs that will be looking for food since their owners couldn't feed them anymore.

i would first cry and then head to a sperm bank in order to get pregnant. after my child is about 5 i will go back to the sperm bank and get pregnant again. i will keep doing this for as long as i can and then when each child reaches their 20th birthday, or earlier if they feel comfortable, i would have the females go to the sperm bank to get pregnant. my new family and i would then continue this trend, avoiding insest at all costs, in order to repopulate the world. it is going to suck for a while however if that is what has to be done it has to be done. i will also teach my children various subjects and have them constantly learning this way we can better survive.
good question. it got me thinking!

Why would I go to work? I wouldn't be getting paid. I wouldn't go to school either. Who would teach me?
