For halloween id just like to add to my costume.

I want it to match my costume this year well and I don't trick or treat i just come along with my friend who do. (my young friends)

I think you might, because it's still a weapon - halloween or not.
If it's sharp enough to hurt someone, if caught (by police or something like that) you probably can get in some trouble. On halloween, a lot of sickos go out and do weird things... Robberies, assaults etc... They may let it slide if you're a kid, but if you're old enough to do something crazy, be on the safe side and make one out of cardboard and tin foil... lol
:-) it's not 100% that you'll get caught, but just be careful, especially around trick-or-treating kids.

a real sword would be a bit much...threaten to some...think plastic!!!!!
