How do non-celebrities get to meet celebrities without body guards around?
I see how people I went to high school with took lots of pictures with celebrities with no bodguards around. They're lucky! & I remember I was on 106 & Park TV show, & I didn't get to meet the celebs up close. & how do fans get to meet celebs backstage? & I was very upset @ the end of the TV show, one of the security guards LAID HIS HANDS ON ME & pushed me literally out of the studio. I felt stupid. Would I have had a right to report him for physical assault for this?

***I asked this in the celebrities section & received rude answers. Is it true that celebs don't want anything to do with their fans & that they pretend to love us because we're helping them make money by buying their albums?

Think about what you would think if you were famous. Personally, I would be apreciative of my fans, and I'd want to be gracious and accomodating, but there have to be times when they want to live their live with their family and friends and people that actually know them. As much as we know their personalities that they put across on the screen, we don't know them, so I can see how they would be frustrated at times. So, I'm personally cool with keeping the illusion alive. By bugging a celebrity, I'm not really getting to know them on an intimate level, so why bother them.

That said, if you really want to meet celebrities, musicians are fairly easy to meet. Go to a concert. Ask the artist's merch person when the artist is most likely to stop by the booth. Or if you want to be more stalkerish, hang out by the bus before or after the show.

Comedy clubs ofter a chance to run into famous comedians before or after their set.

If you want to run into movie or TV celebrities, being in Hollywood doesn't hurt. My wife and I took a drive through the Hollywood hills and William H. Macy was literally outside watering his lawn, although we didn't stop to bother him. The hot spot clubs in the tabloids are probably an easy bet, or the Ralph's supermarket in Hollywood.

Also, book, CD or DVD signings at your local Barnes and Noble or record store will offer you a chance to get a quick pick without a body guard, but you'll literally have about 10 seconds to chat at most. Some big stars have done these signings in my town.

I answered you in the other section too. I am not sure if celebs want to meet fans or not. I bet some do and their people (bodyguards, etc.) don't allow it for security reasons.

I have answered your other question also.

I am far enough away not to give a crap about them.
