The easiest thing to do is to go through your wardrobe and if you have a costume chest, or an old-clothes trunk and try to find articles of clothing that can be used.
Vampire:
Black trousers, white shirt ( if it's frilly at the front even better) and a bow tie. now find red accessories to go with it, like a red waistcoat, or cummerbund, or even a suit with inner red lining. you can buy fabric to make vampire capes, they shouldn't be difficult to make, or you can always buy them. Fake pointy teeth always complete the vampire look.
vampires:
Try to look for a black dress, the more Gothic it looks the better. you can use glitter glue to make cob-web shapes on the costumes too. A woman's black waistcoat can be worn alone or over a white shirt, with a black skirt. Lace-up boots would look good for the vampire look, and just like the vampire, Fake teeth, and a cape can be added, together with red accessories.
make fake blood, and use it on your face, check this web-site:

There are patterns for just these costumes available at any fabric store. Look at their pattern books under the Halloween pattern section. These are quite common patterns. They are probably available from all the different pattern manufactures. Look at all the different books to find a pattern you like.
