I just looked into the topic of Henry violating the substance abuse policy. It appears that the NFL is looking to aquire a "B" test that Henry had taken, however, his "expert" was present at the time of the sample. Under NFL rules Henry has the right to have a non affiliated "expert" on site when Henry takes gives the sample. Henry's "expert" was non affiliated and was not on site. The case is going into a New York court.

My understanding is that Henry can play while the case is in ligitagion.

Do you believe that given the information I have provided, do you think the NFL can persue a case against Henry?

Pete: I couldn't agree more. Selvin Young is a talented RB and had a 10 yd average against the newly impressive Colt offense.

SINCE YOU "LOOKED INTO IT" AND HAVE ALL THE FACTS WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION? WHAT DO THE NEW YORK COURTS HAVE TO DO WITH IT? A LITTLE CLARIFICATION PLEASE

WITH WHAT YOU HAVE STATED AND WHAT I HAVE READ THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF A LABOR ISSUE BUT AS I HAVE HEARD THAT WOULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE COURTS IN NEW YORK. DUE THE FACT THAT FOOTBALL IS IN NUMEROUS STATES FEDERAL LABOR LAWS WOULD BE IN QUESTION AND MOST COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS OR CONTRACTS INVOLVING NATIONWIDE UNIONS ALWAYS FALL UNDER FEDERAL SCRUTINY. IF THEY UNION FEELS LIKE THERE WAS A VIOLATION OF THE AGREEMENT THEY WILL HELP TRAVIS FIGHT THIS NOT BECAUSE HE IS INNOCENT BUT INSTEAD TO MAINTAIN THEIR CONTROL AND AUTHORITY.

IF TRAVIS IS CORRECT AND THE NFL FAILED TO FOLLOW POLICY HE WILL NOT BE SUSPENDED. THIS IS GOING TO COME DOWN TO HOW THE TEST WAS HANDLED, NOT IF TRAVIS IS GUILTY OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE. THE UNION (NFLPA) WILL MAKE SURE THE LETTER OF THE AGREEMENT IS FOLLOWED. THEY ARE FIGHTING LIKE CRAZY TO MAKE SURE MICHAEL VICK KEEPS ALL HIS SIGNING BONUS THAT IS THE UNIONS JOB TO PROTECT PLAYERS AND ENFORCE AGREEMENTS IT DOES NOT REALLY MATTER TO THEM WHO IS RIGHT AND WHO IS WRONG.

Hi, have you met my good friend, Selvin Young? He's very talented and will do just fine in the Denver running system.

Unless you're related to Henry or something...

Sounds like Henry is nailed. His appeal is only prolonging the inevitable year long suspension.
