Why do you think Y/A says Thanks! when you ask a question and lose five points. Is there a conspiracy to have us users have as few points as possible?

Did you sacrifice your points so the rest of us could benefit by "answering" a rhetorical question? LOLOL Thanks! :) Pick me for the best answer too would ya? Woo hoooo. In all honesty maybe it's more like YA saying "Thanks for giving back the points you worked SOO hard to earn" LOL Who knows. :)

Probably because you're kind of giving back to the community! When you lose points by asking a question, other people earn points by answering ur question, and u get a few points back by picking someone's best answer to your question!!
PLUS, u get ur question answered!! Which is an added bonus!!

Hope I helped and have a nice day!!
:-)

I kind of wonder the same thing. If someone posts a really good question, they should be given points instead of losing them.If someone posts a stupid question they should lose some points too.
