Does not bother me at all. I am an AMERICA and the Patriot Act protects my wife and I from some THUG that would like to see all TRUE AMERICANS dead! I am for more meat to it. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL TRUE AMERICAS.
I am not worried about The President getting a laugh out of me if he does listen to me on the phone or my PC. I am quite sure The President is bored listening to what the Dem's. have to say all day long.

Honestly wtih no mailce or sarcasm here is how it has affected me.
it has made me feel more secure that we are acountry of laws and rights that our president( whom i am not huge on) rather than just assuming he has the right -has gone to congress and asked for persmision to do what every president has always done/ had the right to do to moniter communication methods in a time of war to help insure my safety. By considering only suspicious calls coming into the country from questionable numbers we have learned alot and
It so far (though I do not think it will forever) has helped deter/prevent further attacks against us by psycho misguided miscreants.
That means that as I send my son off to Iraq this month to fight that I feel like someone at least gets this terrible situation we are in and understands that our enimies want to use people inside the Us to hurt us.

Well, I can't prove it, but I could swear I saw a big man in black with black sunglasses hiding behind my red-bud tree the other day. Which was funny because it's only 3 feet tall.
Then there was the case when I know I heard heavy breathing on the phone while I was talking to my husband about bring some milk home, and then it really looked like an eye in the gallon of milk.

Freedom is necessary for prosperity. Its enactment (among other things) has led me to believe that the USA can no longer maintain its role as the worlds sole superpower. Our populace has become so complacent that we are willing to give up liberties in exchange for a sense of security.

I had some MIB dudes show up and they wanted me to call the President and do a three way conference call to a phone sex operator. They were bored. It was awesome!

You would rather have an airplane flown directly into your house. Or catch shrapnel from a bomb implanted in your local mall.

Me personally, none that I'm aware of. But, if they are listening in on my calls, that's ok. They'd just hear about my children's latest doctor's appointment, or my discussion with the mechanic about my car, or a new spice cake recipe I found and shared with a friend, etc. My life is pretty boring, lol, I have nothing to worry about.

Not that I am aware of, I have nothing to hide and it bothers me not and I support it. The thing that scares me most is that if a democrat gets the presidency what they will do with its powers.....God, can you imagine Hillary with it at her disposal...if you ever crossed her or Bill, you had better look out!

My aunt's U.S. citizenship was revoked and she was deported back to the U.K. after facing charges that were cleared...deported anyway. The men in black did knock on her door and they took her away. The Patriot Act is a bit scarier than some understand it is.
