I have these kind of dreams quite often and it is begining to get on my nerves because I have already decided that such abilities are pure fantasy.

As a Christian, I know that it could be achieved in faith if it was needed in an emergency but, to have it as some natural ability to be activated at will seems highly unlikely and furthermore there is no hard evidence that I know of to back up anyone ever having done so even by focusing their chi so why these constant dreams that seem to be trying to tell me something?!

I have dreams like that roughly every night. I don't know what it means, but I think the one superpower I would want would to be able to fly.

These dreams usually leave people feeling fantastic. I'm curious as to why they bother you so much. Is it the fact that some call it astral projection that bothers you, scared that it's not Christian like? You dream this for a reason. It's your spirits way of being free and relaxed so that you can be grounded the next day. Half your luck, not everyone has such pleasant dreams and many try to astral project and can't master it. Why not just enjoy it. By the way here's a little game (experiment) to try. If you go somewhere familiar note every detail.. time on clocks, colours of blankets, bedsheets etc and if you see someone you know.. check the next day and see if they were doing what you saw them doing at that time (this is a game people who astral project often play to check accuracy)
Have fun with it!
:)

Hey dude, I'm Christian too. I go to GABC in Phx, AZ. Anyway, usually a flying or hovering dream symbolizes and peace and harmony. If not now then it holds true to the future. Certain doctors believe that flying is a symtom dream that has to do with something pyshcological, but there hasn't been any evidence to prove the hypothesis true.

"if it was needed in an emergency" is the crux of the issue. Flight dreams and astral projections are cousins. They are exactly the same on one thing. You can look and see, but take no useful action.

Dude, they're dreams. Yeah dreams often have meaning but they are usually symbolic and sometimes they mean nothing. Don't take it so seriously. Of course it will never happen, so enjoy while you can. I love flying in my dreams.
