By June 2008 Both Parties will have a clear candidate , the election (Presidential) will be held in November 2008, The new President is sworn in January 2009.

First Tuesday after the first Monday in November, just like every other year.

Primaries start in January, and except for the crying will be over in February. Then we'll have 9 months of campaigning and mudslinging.
