I've made a friend who has Down Syndrome from middle school and since he stayed behind one year, I just met him a couple days back and now were back to being friends.
However his mom convinced me to go to his house and I've no idea what to talk to him about. Any suggestions?

Yeah the thing is, I've been out of contact with him for about a year, and before that we were just said Hi and chatted but never really hung out. He also doesn't play any videogames and other than the power rangers, I can't really recall anything he like to watch on T.V.
Also when I ask about him in general he just says hes fine etc.. and its getting old quick..

Whatever he wants to talkabout!
1] watch TV, movies
2] play video games
3] play boardgames
4] shoot hoops, play catch, soccer, etc.
He is a person too - he knows he is different, and that you are "smart" while he "isn't" - now prove how nice you are.

The best thing i've found is to ask them about themselves. since you have known them a while you already have a basis for this - try bringing up a funny time you shared or asking about things in their home or just more about them in general and then bring in things about yourself- shouldn't be a problem after that you'll be fine! dont worry!
