I just messed up adding details to this question previously so i am asking it again.
How do people seem to know so many things, their General Knowledge is so large, how do they do it? I have a good memory so i dont that will be an issue. Also if anyone has brain exercises that they are willing to share that would be nice

I do know a lot of things, just because I am middle-aged and had a good education, like to read, watch the news, and am curious. I think the net a great invention, I can always search for answers for things I don't know. It keeps me in touch with the younger generation. I think overall the best brain exercise is living.

Read a lot. Dont watch TV. Question what you are told by the media and society in general.
Dont just ponder questions, but research them. Stupid people make decision and form opinions based on the small amount of knowledge they have. Smart people realize they need to know more and go get that information.

Reading a lot is a great way. Books, magazines--lots of kinds, newspapers. To have wide ranging knowledge you don't need any brain exercises.

my exercise is reading. i've been reading the classics for the last 1.5 yrs. just because I'm older and they mean more to me now.
Read everything, I'm full of what I consider pointless knowledge but I do know that those around me think I'm very smart. my current boss hired me to "think of things" I now have 2 patented creations through my job(my normal career is graphic design my current job is not)
my fav things to read about are ancient war and words. I love connecting the languages of the world together.
the brain is very simple; use it or loose it.
