Its true about Arizona. No matter what part of that fall back, spring ahead thing we don't change our clocks. Its actually a lot easier to deal with. Though we still have to figure out what times shows come on since they get changed but other than that its easier to deal with.

How could Arizona not follow it? That sounds weird! I think that we should change the clocks because of the weather patterns. Its true that not many people are farmers, but where I live, it snows all winter...and if we don't change the time, then we have less day light hours... and, we like light!

Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii and the territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa are the only places in the U.S. that do not observe DST but instead stay on "standard time" all year long. And if you've spent any time in the sweltering summer sun in those regions you can understand why residents don't need another hour of sunlight.
I don't understand why we ever started it in the first place. Just to have more sunlight hours. Just leave it alone.

Way to go Joe! Why do people always think the farmers started this? It totally messes up their schedules. Try telling a 1500 lb. milk cow with a full udder that she has to wait an hour to get relief!

We're just about ready to "fall back" here in Tennessee. I HATE IT! It gets dark so early in the evening and by the time I get adjusted to it, it will be "spring forward" time. Yuck!

it is to save energy. its still light later in the day and warmer with daylight savings time, so you don't have to turn on the heater and all the lights in your house.
oh, and yes, i think we should keep it, unless we want rolling blackouts in california again.
