I had sex with my bf of 2 years last week and had a pain during and after sex that lasted about a day. I thought it was nothing but yesterday we did and it did not hurt during sex but 10mins after I had cramping what felt like it my bladder and ovaries. It also spread a little above that wha felt like my bowels. When I would lay a certain way or lift my legs is when it really hurt. Well today it still continues to hurt but subsided a little tonight. When I pee and strain it hurts the most. Also when I walk around and move a certain way. It is very sensitive to touch my lower abdomen. This is the only symptoms it does not burn when I pee or anything but my bladder seems to hurt the most out of the region. I do not think its a bladder infection. I am going to the doctors tom but am freaking out, does this sound like it could be a cyst? Please only those who've had one before.

It does sound like a cyst, especially the pain while urinating.
Do you have any back pain, is your abdomen extended, these are indicators as well.
It's good you're having it checked-out. :)

Personal experience, docs are right. Unless the cysts are growing to the point of rupturing, there is little they can do without surgery. As long as you continue to communicate with the doctor, calling and scheduling an appointment if there are any changes to report - obviously going to the ER if something severe happens, it's best to keep an eye on it and let this type of problem run its course. That could take a while, but it sure beats having surgery. As for the pain, try some breathing, meditation, and stretching exercises to relax yourself. Put a heating pad on a low setting over your belly while watching t.v. Eat a mild diet that is easy to digest to avoid having other irritants in the same area. And drink lots of water to help flush your system of any toxins. Hope this helps and I hope you feel better soon! *Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or medical professional. If you're really unsure about what your docs are telling you, there's no harm in getting a second opinion.

It could be yeah. I think sometimes they can press on the bladder and cause pain when urinating. If it's in the urethra though then it's probably something else. It's impossible to say. Hope the doctor sorts it out and you get better!
