More often taking stupid risks is the bigger threat.
Look at bush's fiasco in Iraq and Afghanistan.

True and false. It depends on the situation.
This is for false... Education in our society is not a "risk" but if we are not educated, our freedom is threatened.
This is for true.... The colonists of America didn't avoid risk when they wanted freedom. They fought for freedom against Great Britain.

True if you don't risk you don't have the chance to see if it was worth it sometimes it's not but sometimes it's worth it. Imagine life like a fire you can't go through it without getting little burnt.

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach for another is to risk involvement.
To expose your ideas, your dreams,
before a crowd is to risk their loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To believe is to risk despair.
To try is to risk failure.
But risks must be taken, because the
greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The people who risk nothing, do nothing,
have nothing, are nothing.
They may avoid suffering and sorrow,
but they cannot learn, feel, change,
grow, love, live.
Chained by their attitudes they are slaves;
they have forfeited their freedom.
Only a person who risks is free.

True. Withdrawing troops from Iraq leads to terrorist attacks and further restriction of freedoms.
It is that simple.
