I have a question concerning colleges and how you get into their programs. For example, I want to go to UC San Diego to get into their pharmacy school but when I apply, do I apply for that school or UCSD in general and then progress after that? I'm confused. Also, does anyone know any good colleges for Pharmacy in California/USA and the tuition costs? Alot of questions yes. ^^

If you are applying after high school, you will need to finish you prereqs for pharmacy school. These could be found on their website or by going to these articles

I went to Everest when it was still Bryman for the pharmacy tech program and i'm glad i made the choice. The program is roughly about $10,000 but with my loans from sallie mae i'm only paying between $50 and $60 a month so its not too bad. A great career choice but I actually agree with Alli's answer: if you can just get some books to show you brand/generic drugs, what they're used for, and a lot of the dosing calculations they use in the hospital or figuring out the days supply (which would probably cost no more than $500, if that much) then you can study for about 6 months, save yourself thousands of dollars, and just pay to take the exam ($150) and i think fingerprints ($50)...and you still come out saving so much money. Good Luck!!

At my public in-state pharmacy schools, tuition and fees are $17000 per year. Private schools are closer to $30k.
Assuming you've completed your prereqs, you apply to the pharmacy school directly through PharmCAS.
