In Eastern philosophy, we have an aversion to those things that we hate and rid ourselves of that which is hated?

Hate is a very intense emotion. I am digging deep and coming up empty for an object that I hate. I may prefer one object over another, but I do not hate the less preferred one. Okay, I'm thinking hard here lol ... nope, nothing's popping into mind that merits hate.

Cars, gasoline, and pollution. My grandfather took me to the city dump in 1953 and told me that our whole world would look like that if we didn't start to 'conserve' ... we haven't done that well, and we are rapidly approaching that horrible sight. My husband and I don't own a car, we take the bus everywhere except to bring us home from the grocery store once every two weeks. Our 'carbon footprint' is smaller than most single people have ... what is yours?

How do you come to "hate" an object? Are you talking about inanimate objects? I find it difficult to hate an object, such as a tree or a ball of yarn.

I do not hate. But, I remove unhealthy, toxic stimuli from my surroundings, such as spiders, attorneys, fundamental religious freaks, non-stop talkers, telephones, mold and Republicans.

money, it sucks you never have enough. you have a rewarding job helping people you cant take care of themselves making $ 20,000 a year and a marketing executive creating advertisement to sell more mcdonalds and coke keeping consumers fat and full of cholesterol make 70,000 a year how unfair is that
