I'm a very clean person. I like to wear my shoes without socks. I have dress shoes that I have been wearing for no more than 3 month, and they stink and they make my feet stink. I can't take my feet out of my shoes in public. I need some solutions please. Any ideas?

1) Try wearing peds - socks that just cover the feet to absorb sweat. e.g. http://www.kushyfoot.com/products.php?lang=en&id_catp=1&id_cat=1&id_subcat=0&id_product_line=0&id_product=0&start_no=0

2) Spray your feet w/ deoderant/anti-perspirant if you don't want to wear peds.

3) Use cedar shoe trees to absorb sweat & help leather shoes retain their shape.

I know you probably don't want to hear this but you may just have to ditch the shoes. I am a very clean person as well. I am also very sensitive to offensive odors. Sometimes you just can't get rid of the bacteria that's causing the odor. I am guessing it's bacteria. I'm not a scientist. Anyway, I had to ditch an $85 pair of Nikes after I'd bought special insoles, bleached my socks, and washed the shoes with a toothbrush, oxy & water. My guess is that I just splashed through the wrong puddle while I was running. The shoes just got soaked with a dose of rancid water.
Anyway, try to clean the shoes and if that doesn't work throw'em away. Life's too short to be worrying about offensive foot odor. :)

#1put some baby powder / baking soda in your shoes and just kinda swish it around then dump it out and put some crumpled up newspaper in your shoes over night.

#2 although you're a clean person you're feet still sweat in your shoes so in a gallon of warm / hot water put in a couple tablespoons on grapefruit juice and soak!

#3 try wearing little nylon sockettes. they help your feet not seat so much making no smell in your shoes later!

hope this helps!

your feet are probably the culprit. wash your feet really good, in between your toes with an anitbacterial soap, then before you put on your socks buy some foot powder and sprinkle it into your socks and your shoes, you should be wearing cotton socks for breathability. when you take off your shoes, sprinkle more powder into it and get a shoe spray like the bowling alleys have.

First, clean the shoes, soap on a damp cloth and wipe out the inside. Then spray with some fabreze and let sit a while. Now, when you wear your shoes, spray your feet with deoderant before putting them on and it should be better.

First of all put your shoes in the washer or at least try to scrub them. If you cant do that put foot powder in them and leave it on the shoe overnight. Wear foot powder so your feet do not stink. :) :)

you have to start wearing DECENT socks. what you smell is sweat and if you wear socks, the sweat won't drench into the shoe.

Easy solution, buy new shoes. You can try washing them out with "all purpose" cleaner and rub a little deodorant on the soles. If you can replace the soles, go for it.
