Since the game depends more on skill and athleticism. Unlike copying all the answers to a test, spying doesn't guarantee a win. It's not like the detroit lions can win a super bowl just by spying. Using steroids might give a big advantage in a sport that relies purely on brute strength like weight lifting, but in a sport that relies on coordinatinon and timing like tennis, it probably won't help at all.

Any team that resorts to that level in sport should just be kicked out of the leagues.

For one thing, 3 games doesn't prove their not affected by not stealing signs. And for all you know, they already had enough on those teams that it didn't matter if they used video cameras in those particular games.
Everyone knows the game is played on the field, and having a strategic advantage does not mean you'll automatically win. But there's a reason they use signs and do not just shout and their plays, and it's that there is a major advantage to knowing exactly what your opponent is doing. Sometimes you are so dominant over the other team that you can make a play even if the other team knows what you're doing, but there are plenty of situations where you're in a critical moment of the game, and knowing the other team's play is the difference between winning and losing.
Just because they happen to be winning, does not mean cheating is not a bad thing. Call the Patriots the best team in the league all you want, but being dishonest will and should always tarnish their image.

It was pointless of them to be spying THIS year. In past years, they needed every advantage they could get, but this year they are so completely stacked with talent and athleticism that they have absolutely no need to be cheating.
