Please be descriptive. I have the time to listen. Thank you.

I met my hubby at work. We were both supervisors for a cleaning company. He was engaged at the time and I had to suffer through him marrying her and I was also by his side as he ended it 1 and a half weeks later. I supported him through his divorce and after his family disowned him for embarrassing them. After almost 6 years we have 2 beautiful kids and are happier then ever.

I was eighteen and started working third shift at a factory. He was working in the warehouse and noticed me right away. I didn't see him until a week later I think. He was playing in a band after work a few times a week. I got invited to watch him play. He plays drums by the way. We had a great attraction towards each other. We hung out for about a month before he asked me out. A year later he proposed and six months after that we got married. We have been married a little over three years. Have two kids and are very happy together. He is my best friend.

He was the new kid on the block and very good looking so much so that all the girls wanted him including my sister.I said to her have you seen that new guy that is hanging around she said yes and leave him alone. I told her he is mine and we are going to be married yea right she said. I hadn't even meet him yet but i knew i had to meet him so i got a friend of mine to introduce us. We were in the neighborhood bar where everyone goes to hang out and have fun. 30 days later On 07/07/1977 we kissed for the first time it happen to be on his birthday and we were at his surprise birthday party. He just turned 19 and i was 25. We were married 05/12/1979 we have had our ups and downs like everyone else has but we were smart enough to hold on and work through the bad times. I guess you can say we are happy,we love each other and we are best friends. For being married over 28 years and still be in love and friends and like talking to each other one on one about anything then i guess you can say we are happy.

Met at work, but we worked for 2 different companies that dealt closely with one another. He came in and introduced himself to me. Every so often he would come in and try to make small talk but I would mostly ignore him because I thought he was def. not my type. He asked me to lunch and I went not thinking much of it - people in our line of work always do stuff like that using it as a way to get more business. They'll take you to eat, give you cash, cruises, concert tickets, tics to prof. sports - anything - and it happens a lot so I was thinking thats all he was doing. He asked me out again after that and I blew him off. He tried again and I went again - this time out of work. It took him about a 10 months to propose ( although he says he knew right away ) and another year after that to get married. We've now been married a year and a half and I feel VERY fortunate to have HIM. I'm glad he was persistant because I could not have hoped for anything better.

i joined an online dating community 10 years ago, must have dated at least 100 different women, then i met my wife to be, were married within 3 months, happily ever after, almost 8 years now, a new record for both of us. She had her fair share of dates too, but neither of us were in a rush to be with someone.

there's only so much ground a middle age single can cover. you go to bars, social events and such, but the variety of people you meet is limited and you do not get the whole range of choice. if you don't get impatient and can have fun with it, online dating is the way to go.

Well I was working as a receptionist at a company and he came in to apply for a job. He just moved from another state only 3 weeks prior. We weren't hiring at the time so the boss kinda blew him off. I thought he was cute and he kinda talked to me a bit when he came in. Well he kept calling asking for a job! It turns out about a month later a guy got fired and they called him in for an interview! He asked me out when he came in for a second interview. We started dating before he even got the job. Wasn't the boss surprised when we had a relationship after he got hired. I quit shortly after and the rest is history....

Cheerleading tryouts... I moved to a new town right before my junior year and went to tryouts and he was actually capt. of the football team but was also on the competition cheer team to put up stunts. I became capt. of the cheerleading team and we started dating right after tryouts. We got homecoming court, prom queen and king, went to college together, he went to iraq the first time and we found out the past year he was going again so we went to the court house and got married... it had been 8 years and we figured it was about time! So, now I'm waiting for him to come back home so we can start our life as a new family =)

I met my husband in school (college). I noticed him the first day of class and decided that I would sit next to him the next time the class meet. Anywho the day came, I called myself getting to class a little late so I could sit next to him. To my surprise he didn't show up so I kind of figured he had to have been in the wrong class that first day. After a while I couldn't stand seeing him around campus not knowing his name so one day I saw him sitting by himself, I introduced myself and told him he looked like he needed a friend. Well we've been best friends for 8 yrs, Mr. & Mrs for 5 years, and still honey mooning!
