i want to buy one, i don't know when, where, or which one to buy though....
do you think i should buy it now? on christmas season? or after christmas?
where do you think i should buy it? wal-mart, eb-games, gamestop, or costco?
which one should i buy?? the new one which is like a 130-100 something bucks.... or the used and refurbished on which is 80 dollars..... you can check them on their sites if you want..
so, please help........ oh yeah, please give good reasons if possible

I'd buy the new one. I'm always hesitant to buy used consoles because you never know how well the previous owner took care of it. I don't mind buying used games, but I never buy used consoles. Now would probably be a good time to purchase it, because I doubt the prices are going to drop dramatically after Christmas. They may though, don't quote me on it. Check at Wal-mart, I know you can usually buy them new with a controller for about $100 here in my hometown. And buy the slim model.

I would suggest you buy it in Xmas because then it might be on sale or with games or DVDs included as a package with very price. But if you can't wait, buy it now and the brand new one not the one that is used. And by the way check out Fry's first because last i saw it at Fry's, they have the PS2 with five free games.

there isnt much difference in price in a used one or new, so i would go new. i doubt the price would go down before christmas or at all anymore so anytime is a good time to buy it...and if it is an option get the slim ps2 not the old bulky one. as for games if you are lookin in to that, if you are into RPGs get Final Fantasy X and XII, both great games, also guitar hero II. there are so many good games for ps2, it wont die for a while

Dont get a refurbished one. Just don't not worth the risk. Get the slim. Its faster and smaller. Get it at costco they are cheaper and have good "bundles" to choose from.
