I felt like that when i was in high school . It gets to the end of the year and you just dont care anymore. I was concerned because i didn't want to fail.
I believe this generation is getting stupider and is just interested in sexual use and attraction. (no offense)
have a great day :)

Sorry, I'm in middle school but I still agree with you! I sometimes feel like the teachers are just there to give you homework and you don't actually learn anything! Or the teachers are just there to earn money, and they don't want to be there at all, so they just give you the homework or give you quizzes. And all the teachers are so focused on test scores and everything, and then some teachers of mine have said, 'I don't believe in homework but I have to give it to you anyways....'
I'm taking Spanish and I'm in the second year, and I can't remember anything and my teacher hardly even talks in Spanish and then all the sudden she tells us that we're going to have a test tomorrow about everything that we've learned, and everyone's just kinda like, 'Okay, what have we learned???'

I was really shocked today about how some people in my high school just don't know what's going on in this world
i think that it is not just book education but worldy knowledge is important too.
Someone needs to knock on their doors and wake them up from their own little world and tell them that they need to start opening their minds for a little knowledge.
i'm not into blank minded people who don't know who the "president" of North Korea is.

it is true.,
even though i am not in high school anymore, i do an internship tutoring high schools kids and omg they are so frikking retarded... not in the sense that they are but they just don't give a crap about ANYTHING. I swear, one girl i met today, was a senior and didn't know what college board is or what an SAT is, my jaw dropped seriously.

no, i feel like i've become even more educated since i've been in highschool. maybe your teachers aren't doing as good of a job at teaching..or maybe your loosing focus in class..or it culd just be a teen thing.

Agreed! I think they're not teaching what we really want to know, or what we even need to know. They don't even attempt to teach us about current events, most high school students don't even know why we're at war, and what events led up to it.
