My brother got a logic problem for homework and we cant figure it out. Here it is:
5 students are seated in the front of the room facing the class. Figure out the order in which they are sitting from the following clues.
a. Iris is the same distance away from Elmo that she is from Ollie.
b. Wanda is seated between Zelda and Elmo.
c. Ollie is sitting next to Wanda.
d. Wanda is not seated between Ollie and Zelda.

don't know if this is right but here's my guess.....there may be more than 5 seats....let's go with 6
zelda, ollie, wanda, iris, empty, elmo
a. Iris is same distance from elmo and ollie due to empy seat
b. wanda is between zelda and elmo (not beside each of them)
c. ollie is next to wanda
d. wanda is not between ollie and zelda

either they are in a circle, there is another person, or it is not possible
the circle would look like this:
iris elmo ollie wanda zelda
but in a circles so iris and zelda are next to each other

No answer unless you have to think outside the box. i.e. It doesn't say they have to be seated all in a row.
This is a seating arrangement with the first letters of their name. Iris is in front or behind Wanda.

I've worked this every way that I can think of, and I think that this one has no answer.... maybe the teacher gave it to them to wrack their brains
