I had mirena inserted on july 25,2007and only had the normal heavy period for a couple days and every thing was fine until 4 weeks later i have had headaches,fatigue,hairloss,and numbness of feet and hands i believe its because of the iud but i'm not sure i made a apoinment to remove it as soon as posible can mirena be causing this? I have been a healthy 21 year old otherwise.

Some of your symptoms seem unusual for having an IUD. However if this is the only thing you've done differently recently, I think this might be your culprit. I hope all your symptoms diminish with the removal of your IUD. If not, I would have some other test run.
