Yes at that point I have absolutely lost control, which is exactly what I want. It is my own choosing.

For me it is a new and exciting adventure. As I let the currents take me to destinations unknown, my mind is free of distractions and I enjoy the journey to the fullest. Before committing myself I had already weighed the risks involved and I knew there were other, safer choices, but I still made the conscious decision to take that course.

I'll go with Helen of Troy on this one.

And even taken literally, supposing the current of the river or floodwaters takes you, go with the flow rather than try to go against the current, and nearing the bank, that is the time to release all that strength you haved saved while going with the flow, to head for safety.

Sometimes it's good to sit back and see what other people do before becoming more "active" about our lives. But I think it's more rewarding to make my own decisions and create my own future, instead of waiting for my life to happen by accident.

If the pack decides to rob a bank, will you go along? If you are strong enough to say no, then you have not lost control.

going with the flow means to relax. kinda like conforming to your surroundings. not necessarily losing control. just allowing yourself to blend in. which is not always a good thing.
