First, the assumption is that you and second party should be in the move, from given points X and Y. Intersection should occur when both parties travel at trajectories meeting each other's path in the globe, when subject is of flight paths of two physical mass. You only specified two points. To have an intersection you need to have a direction.
That means, each of you need to be going somewhere to bump into each other.

first, find the height of the triangle... through using the triangle area formula... after finding it, try to look for the value of the vertex and the degrees... then identify the type of triangle... scalene, equilateral, etc... after that, plot it in to a graph paper... then find it's points...
