You want to impress your teacher than don't go for the obvious and easiest one to do. I am from New Hampshire and as someone had stated previously it is overlooked. We had the first free library. The author who wrote "Mary had a little lamb" was from NH, and that was in the 1830s. Downtown in NH is up and coming, and was once a place of mills filled with the French until the Irish came. The mill then became a toy factory many years later, and is still up over 100 years later. The Old Man of The Mountain is the most popular and famous landmark we have. You can see the face of a man in the mountains. Also have the White Mountains up north in the State and the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium. It was over the news, she was a New Hampshire teacher who died in the Space Shutte. Our Motto is "Live Free or Die" that would be rather interesting to do a billboard on. Our state believes in freedom of our people. A lot of history, and very interesting if you take the time to get to know about it.

Virginia has a lot of history, as does Pennsylvania. Either one should fill a billboard.
