Eat more fiber. Fiber helps get things moving and will help regulate your system.

Foods containing good amounts of fiber:
Whole grains (bread, cereals, etc)
Bran
Whole wheat pasta or rice
Almonds
Beans, lentils and peas
Broccoli
Spinach
Sweet Potatoes
Berries
Fruits and veggies eaten with the peel on (eg. potatoes, apples, etc)

If you've tried eating these and you're still desperate, try a laxative.

That is a dietary issue that needs to be addressed. Record everything you have eaten in the past week and then stand back and take a look. Fried food, take a ways, sodas and other sugar filled fat fried foods are not good for you. Munch vegetables and fruit instead of chips and things. For the moment, eat two Activia yogurts and that should get everything moving by morning without being forced to sit on the loo all day. Eat healthier cause this is the one and only body you have. Eat to live not live to eat.

Maybe try a mild laxitive, there are ones are there that just get you moving and dont cause the full on diareah effects that others do. Just ask your pharmasict, tell them its kind of a personal question, but they will be more than happy to help. Sometimes this just happens if you havent been drinkin much water or eating things you normally wouldnt eat like take out and other stuff.
Hope you feel better soon.

You need to do a few things; eat less until you can go, eat only things that are healthy (veggies, no fried foods, no sugars), prunes, exercise, an over the counter laxative will also help.

Digestive enzymes can be purchased in a health food store, but I suggest you take a good look at your eating habits. Eating healthier I feel will make you feel much better in the long run.
