I think you have it right..... there is no one out there that can have any staying power like the 60's or 70's or even some 80's bands......... too bad...... I love music... but todays music, isnt music........ its horrible........ just kids out there screaming out they want to be (bad word) ......... too bad........... makes me wonder if there is hope for this generation

not me.
here's a timeline to put things in perspective:

*1960* haters in BB King's day: "what is this blues garbage? this aint real music!"

*1973* haters in Stevie Wonder's day: "why isn't there REAL music like BB King anymore? funk is terrible!"

*2007* haters today: "they should be promoting real musicians like Stevie Wonder! rap is crap!"

*The Future* and so it goes

the world is evolving darling. don't listen to your elders. they don't know what the hell they talking about. just go with the flow

No music is not dying.
More and more rock bands are coming to make the music scene alive again. Lets get rid of Kanye West, 50 Cent, Timberlake, Timbaland music, they are the one killing it.

People used to make fun of my classic Rock CD's, (but then steal them behind my back).
I got sick of replacing them, and decided to put them all in my head for reference. Now, I'm a musician and I Rock!
I don't even listen to that other stuff, if it is no good.
