Zn + 2HCl == ZnCl2 + H2

The hydrogen gas is flammable

This is usually done in the lab in an ehrlenmyer flask and the gas collected through water displacement.

Copper(Cu) is a metallic and HCl is an acid. Acid reacts with metallic and the metallic replaces the hydrogen in the acid and creates salt. a similar happens awesome right here. The reaction is under- Cu+2HCl = CuCl2+ H2
