i have very long periods that last about 2-3 weeks then i dont have another one for 2 months or so?

i have very long periods that last about 2-3 weeks, then i can sometimes not have a period for the next month or so...any one know whats wrong? i cant be pregnant so please dont say that as a answer.

This sounds more like a hormone imbalance could be going on such as with the thyroid. I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
