yes, cos my hubby can never keep any secret or surprise to me..lol He was taking me to an island for a 'special' trip to propose. But since he bought the tickets, he kept saying this is going to be a very 'special' and 'surprising' trip...LOL
The propose thing was not a surprise, but he surprises me everyday of how much he loves me. And that's just as good..

Yes, I pretty much knew. Him and a friend was out all day trying to find me a Birthday Present. He finally came home and was soooo nervous, which got me really nervous also. What was funny was that the only thing in my bag (or so I thought) was two kissing bears...so I started to get a little pi**ed. Reached in and found the card. Then was like "great, all he got me was 2 kissing bears for my Bday"...which was the reaction he was expecting...then he told me there was more, I felt the ring wrapped up in some tissue paper. It was sweet! He was so nervous that he couldn't talk! It was great!

Yes, I did. And sometimes I wish I didn't. But you can't have everything, right?

Our relationship was very different from others that I had in the past. He never played games with me with calling or not calling, and I was never in uncertainty about how he feels about me. I never had to worry that he might not like me as much as I liked him, and then the subject of marriage came so naturally that I wasn't even surprised. We talked about getting engaged before we meet my parents because they wouldn't approve us living together. So the night before our flight to Europe when he picked me up from school (I was taking night classes), I knew exactly where he was taking me.

Sometimes I wish that I was surprised or that I cried (I always imagined that I would cry but I didn't) but on the other hand, it was lovely the way it was. He was nervous and sweet, and the night with the city view below us was beautiful!

yes, he proposed often, And no it didn't ruin it. I didn't have some made up desire to be proposed to in a certain way. anyhow the fact that he really wanted to marry me was all that was important.

She proposed to me. Even she was surprised. She had not planned it. It just came out. We were married 2 days later. That was 41 wonderful (mostly) years ago.

No, because I didn't know when he was going to do it. Well, actually I did. If out of the blue your silly boyfriend who just a month earlier wanted you to try on rings at a passing jewelry store for "fun" sets up a night at a fancy hotel on the beach for no reason, yeah, I saw it coming. But, it was still very special for me.

Well it was on his birthday, and he kept saying his real present was still to come(such a sweetie). So I kinda new,(we had gotten serious real fast), and when he bent on one knee I knew what was coming, but it definitely didn't ruin it, just wasn't totally surprised.

Still happily married!

I kind of knew it would happen sooner or later.
It was at my parents house and he sat beside me and got the ring out of his suit pocket, without a jewel box or anything.. very spontaneous. My mother got tears in her eyes and I was very pleased I must say.
