I am an Evangelical Christian and am acutely aware that many things done in the Bible would be quite illegal in modern society.
For example, Jacob having more than one wife (polygamy) and they just happen to be his cousins.
Can you cite a few examples?

Jesus turning the table over in the temple. This would be considered "property damage" today would it not? It seems like today property is considered to be a precious and inaliable right, no matter what the justification behind attacks on it might be (i.e. greed).

Stoning an adulteress (or adulterer for that matter).

Preparing to sacrifice your son (sorry Abraham).

Possessing a COPY of the Ten Commandments.

Building an ARK without proper zoning permits.
Abandoning your wife (even if she DID turn into a pillar of salt) in the mountains.
Burning Bushes.

Oh my! What a can of worms. Genocide, murder, theft, fornication, adultery, bigamy, fraud, indecent exposure. I think the most disturbing thing is the lack of missionary work. Instead of converting the Canaanites, the Israelites were supposed to ethnically cleanse the land of them as a final solution for the idolatry problem.
