will a small town comunity musical judge you by the way you look?

I know i already asked this sorta but it was very unclear.
i just tried out for annie. i want annie, and i dont want to sound braggish but i think i can pull it off. the only thing is, i am 5'3 and im not skinny, but im not fat, im average. do you REALLY think they will judge me by that if im a good performer? i have been told that i have incredible stage presence.

and I answered it for you. All casting everywhere is done first by look and second by ability. I the actor does not look like the part, he or she will not get the part. Just think how much more your fantastic stage pressence would be if you lost a few pounds!
